As a youngster Stan Leenders was always designing or building structures, so it’s a natural progression that he would one day run his own construction company.
A keen mountain-biker, he began by designing and building wooden jumps and ramps as a teenager on the family farm. Then it was a paintball course with bunkers and wooden hideouts that became a successful side business – a sign of things to come.
The next step was a building apprenticeship with an award-winning building company. “I enjoyed learning the full range of building skills and gained a good insight into the industry.”
After qualifying and working as a leading hand with a residential building company, Stan started his own company, Lockhart Construction, a building company centred around customer experience.
The Lockhart Construction point of difference is that, as well as providing top building workmanship, we prioritise ensuring that the customer has a positive experience throughout the build.
“We have a set of values that we follow and a strong process for how we work with clients. We listen, communicate well, and appreciate that our customers have put their trust in us,” says Stan.
Lockhart Construction are Licensed Building Practitioners and approved New Zealand Certified Builders. Our team includes four qualified builders experienced in all facets of building and renovations, and one apprentice.
